Our Story
Granite Properties of Texas has been an integral part of the Austin real estate landscape since 1975. We have bought, sold, and managed multi-family, office, retail, and industrial buildings across central Texas. We work with client owners ranging from sole proprietorships to partnerships to REITs to multinational corporations such as General Motors and Karlin Real Estate.
GPT believes in providing professional and ethical service to our clients. Each one of our property managers enhance their skill and industry knowledge through industry associations, including the Austin Apartment Association (AAA), Texas and National Apartment Associations, Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute (CCIM), and the Chamber of Commerce. Our managers have served in leadership roles of these groups including presidents, board members and committee chairs. This extra effort enables our staff to stay on top of changing markets, industry practices, and legal issues.
Our team includes Certified Property Managers (CPM), Certified Commercial Investment Members (CCIM) and other designations.
Granite Properties of Texas and its employees have a passion for giving back to the community. We participate in weekly Meals on Wheels deliveries, and support the Austin Apartment Association Thanksgiving meal distribution to over 1,000 people each year.

Bill Roland, CPM, CCIM
Company Principal
Bill Roland has been managing properties in the Austin area for 40+ years. He is Past President of the Austin Apartment Association and the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) Chapter and remains involved with both associations. Granite Properties of Texas was founded in 1975 with Mr. Roland as sole proprietor and company principal.
Julie Lewis, CPM
Commercial Property Director
Julie Lewis has been a property manager with Granite Properties of Texas for over 35 years and is the company’s Commercial Property Director. She currently manages commercial properties large and small.
Max Roland
Property and Technology Director
Max is a multi-discipline Property Manager and Technology Director. With over 10 years in remote IT management Max is able to support everything a modern building infrastructure needs. He is involved in the local IREM chapter as committee vice-chair, earning the new member of the year award in 2022.
Evan Williams, CPM
Commercial Property Management
Evan Williams has been with Granite Properties for 10 years managing commercial properties. He is a licensed Realtor with over 16 years’ experience in sales and leasing transactions regarding Commercial Real Estate assets. Evan is heavily involved with the local IREM Chapter as a committee chair, 2023 Committee Lead of the year, and recipient of the Chapter’s 2018 Member of the Year awards.
Gina Lopez, ACoM, CPM Candidate
Commercial & Multifamily Property Management
Gina Lopez has served in the property management industry for 13 years, and currently manages both commercial and multi-family properties at Granite Properties. She holds a current sales license through TREC and is an active member of the local IREM chapter. Gina is currently pursuing a CPM certification.
